While on a back country ski trip with Ken, he mentioned the concept of heli-hiking. As soon as he said it, I knew it would be a great way to combine my love of the back country with an experience my wife would appreciate. We put together a plan to heli-hike based out of Golden. I ended up using it as both a team building event for my key staff and an adventure for Susan. It was a massive hit! Ken kept us safe and made it a learning experience as well as an adventure in spectacular country. (Kudos to the team at Alpine Helicopter as well, their pilots are awesome!)

Nous avons été très choyés d'avoir Ken Bélanger, Julien et Élisabeth comme guides pour la Wapta traverse. Tout fut miticuleusement planifié. Nous avons très bien mangé tant au niveau du menu carnivore, que végétarien. Ken fut attentif à nos besoins et la bonne humeur de tous guides nous a permis de vivre une superbe expérience. We had a fantastic experience ski Touring off I93. Shaun was great company, extremely professional and very knowledgeable. We are very planning a return trip next year and will use Elevation again. I have used different companies in Canmore previously and although great, neither reaches the quality of Elevation. Friendly and easy to deal with, coupled with safety levels which give you comfort knowing that should something unexpected happen it will be resolved quickly and calmly. Why would you use anyone else???
